Before creating an account, verify that your company meets SBIR eligibility requirements.

Is your company a small business (fewer than 500 employees) located in the United States? Is at least 50% of your company's equity owned by U.S. citizens or permanent residents? Will all funded work (including consultants and contractors) take place in the United States? Is your principal investigator (tech lead) legally employed at least 20 hours/week by your company? Can your principal investigator commit to at least 173 hours of work per 6 months of project duration?

Note: NSF does not fund companies majority-owned by multiple venture capital firms, private equity firms, or hedge funds.
